Yemeni content creator Mustafa Al-Mawmari has once again faced the wrath of YouTube's moderation system. In early May 2026, fans noticed that his viral sarcastic video (short-film) mocking the Kuwaiti Quran reciter and religious figure Mishary Rashid Alafasy.

The "Hands of Iran" Controversy. The catalyst for Al-Mawmari's latest viral rant was a nasheed released by Alafasy in late April 2026, featuring the phrase "تبت يدين إيران" (May the hands of Iran perish). Al-Mawmari, known for his heavy and often shouting comedic style, blasted Alafasy for releasing a track focusing on Iran while seemingly ignoring the broader regional conflicts involving Israel and the United States, particularly regarding the ongoing situation in Gaza.

The resulting video became a massive talking point across Middle Eastern social media, blending harsh political critique with Al-Mawmari's signature stand-up-style delivery.

This is far from the first time Mustafa Al-Mawmari has had to rebuild his digital presence. The YouTuber has a long history of clashing with YouTube's Community Guidelines. His aggressive commentary style, combined with heavy coverage of the ongoing conflicts in Yemen and Gaza, frequently triggers the platform's hate speech, harassment, or violent content filters.

Despite "repeated" bans, Al-Mawmari's content continues to circulate. Dedicated fan bases on Telegram, TikTok, and mirror YouTube channels routinely download his broadcasts and immediately re-upload them. Fans searching for the now-deleted "Hands of Iran" sketch are currently relying on these unofficial mirror networks to watch the removed content.
