YouTube Removes Mustafa Al-Mawmari's Video Mocking Mishary Alafasy

Al-Mawmari, who is widely known for his loud, aggressive, and highly theatrical comedic commentary, slammed the Kuwaiti reciter. He argued that releasing a track targeting Iran was a distraction, criticizing Alafasy for ignoring the broader geopolitical conflict involving Israel and the United States, especially concerning the crisis in Gaza.

The response video quickly became a major talking point across Middle Eastern social media, dividing viewers between those who supported Al-Mawmari's political frustrations and those who defended Alafasy.

This is not the first time Al-Mawmari has faced action from YouTube. The Yemeni creator has a long history of channel terminations and video takedowns. His confrontational style, combined with his unfiltered commentary on the conflicts in Yemen and Gaza, frequently triggers YouTube's automated and manual filters for harassment, hate speech, or graphic political content.

Despite the platform's attempts to restrict his reach, Al-Mawmari's videos continue to find an audience. Unofficial mirror channels, along with active fan networks on Telegram and TikTok, quickly archive his broadcasts. Users looking for the deleted "Hands of Iran" reaction are currently relying on these alternative networks to share and watch the clip. The video is produced as a "short film" running under five minutes. It depicts Mawmari as a "sheikh" wearing a fake beard and mustache, alongside actresses—strongly suggested to be his followers and inner circle—playing the roles of Gulf region "Mashaayikh" (sages). The video shows the sages sleeping on the floor while a man in the house watches television news. The man repeatedly attempts to wake the sages to report on situations in Gaza, Syria, Lebanon and Tehran, but they remain asleep or are depicted as a "deaf sleeper." When news of a strike on Tel Aviv broadcasts, the man excitedly attempts to wake them:

"a strikes hit Tel Aviv..."

Before he can finish, the sages suddenly open their eyes and run from the area to investigate, leaving the man behind.

A subsequent scene shows the sages with disheveled Ghutra and Agal campaigning and delivering lectures in mosques and on the streets, stating:

"Oh sheikh, the followers are attacking you."

Mawmari responds:

"Prepare the followers. Should I tell you something? Prepare all the Muslims!"

The assistant then adds:

"They are carrying out fierce operations against you!"

Visibly angered, Mawmari throws his phone to the floor without speaking.

The final scene transitions to show the sages and Mawmari inside "an office" alongside an AI-generated rendering of U.S. President Donald Trump, indicating it is the "president office". The president, speaking Modern Standard Arabic with an American accent on the "R" letter, tells the group:
