Asked for directions at Glasgow Central station. The man spoke for 90 seconds straight with intense eye contact, but between the accent, the speed, and the slang, it sounded like ancient Gaelic spoken backwards through a bagpipe. I just nodded and walked directly into the wrong train.

He probably said: "Ye just gan doon the stair, hop on the Clockwork Orange inner circle, and get aff at Buchanan Street hen, nae bother." Clear as crystal mate.

The Glasgow subway being an orange circle that only goes in two directions (Inner and Outer) and tourists still getting lost is legendary.
